Hunting is one of the most exciting experiences a person can go through. Bow hunting deer are just a lot of fun for anybody to hunt because it is one of the fastest ways you can go through bringing down a huge game animal. For some people they get caught up in the excitement of it all and the thrill that the hunt brings to them as well as the pride that they take in how good of a shot they were that day.

However, there are a few things that a hunter has to know before going out bow hunting deer. You have to know where to go, what to bring, and of course how to shoot it. There are a lot of variables that you have to deal with. If you are just getting started with bow hunting then you need to go out and try it on your own.

The best place to start when you are bow hunting deer is on public land. This means that the land you will be hunting on belongs to the government. There are also some hunting trails that you can get into as well if you are not on public land. They usually do not cost you anything but you still want to check with your state first.

Once you are on public land, you will want to bring your bow and arrow. You will want to take note of the direction of the wind and find out what it looks like when it is blowing where you are going to be. If you are not sure, ask a ranger at the land you are going to hunt on. They can help you out.

Once you get to where you are going to be hunting, you will want to prepare yourself for this deer that is going to come out to play. First of all, you have to understand that if you are going to be hunting in areas where there is water, the deer that are going to be coming out might be eating a lot more than they should. Remember that it is always best to stay out of that area, especially if you are going to be carrying food with you. In addition, you should be watching the weather a lot more than you do the food. Also, make sure that you are able to get down into the water that you need.

Once you get on the deer, you will want to use a technique called stalking deer. It involves staying right on top of them and waiting for them to come by you. They will usually stalk by themselves and not chase you down. The best time to use this technique is right before dark. If you can get them on the trail before dark, this would be the best time to use it.

One important thing that you have to remember when using the stalking deer technique is that you need to remain very calm. Do not get too excited or scared because they will likely run away. Use the technique to help you kill the deer when you have time.

Once you are done stalking the deer, you can look for the decoy and try to figure out where the deer want to go. Most of the time they will try to go to the same places where the food is so be prepared for that. Once you have found where they want to go, you can follow them and make sure that you shoot them at the right time.
